Crusaid’s vision is a world where people living with HIV and AIDS can live with dignity and have a decent quality of life.
In the UK, The Crusaid Hardship Fund provides support through small individual grants which have shown their ability to change lives. Over the fund’s twenty-one year history it has disbursed more than 40,000 individual grants and supported one third of all people living with HIV in the UK.
Internationally, the funds you raise could be used for one of Crusaid’s Point of Light projects. Points of Light are grassroots projects designed to act as a catalyst for long term change in some of the world’s poorest countries. As well as addressing poverty and ill-health, Crusaid’s Point of Light projects provide a safe place for children and vulnerable adults to receive counselling, a hot meal, home-based care and welfare support. A Point of Light project can support anywhere from 30 to 300 individuals a day though, often, the demand for resources outstrips their capacity. Thanks to your support Crusaid will be able to reach more people in desperate need.
