Charity Skydiving Jumps

Welcome to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Red Devils Sky Dive Challenge on 5 July 2011!
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (charity number 1001064) is responsible for funding and operating three Air Ambulances serving the Midlands and Welsh border region. Flying its first mercy mission in 1991, the organisation is regarded as one of the longest established and busiest Air Ambulance operators in the UK.
It is not always fully appreciated that Midlands Air Ambulance is funded solely by the public and local businesses. We receive no government money or National Lottery funding. The generosity of the public helps to raise the £6 million required each year to ensure our three helicopters remain operational, so please consider making a donation or join our lottery to help save lives across the region. Midlands Air Ambulance is proud to serve communities in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire. For more information please see our website.
The Challenge will in take up in the sky and after a 15 minute flight whilst looking at some incredible views of the local countryside you will reach jump altitude roughly 2 miles up or down however you wish to think of it. You will exit the aircraft and experience a thrilling 45 seconds of free-fall as you and your instructor reach speeds in excess of 120mph freefalling through the air. At about 5000ft your instructor will open the parachute and you will begin your 5 minute scenic parachute descent expertly guided down to the drop zone, landing to the cheers of your friends & family.
Have fun and thanks for your support!
