Online FundraisingSAFE@LAST was established in June 2000 in response to an acute need for services for the one in nine children under 16 years who run away or are forced to leave home every year in South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North East Derbyshire.
The charity runs a free helpline service, 0800 335 SAFE, which is aimed at ensuring immediate safety and support for a young person’s return to home or a place of care. SAFE@LAST also provides a MISPER (Missing Persons) scheme for young runaways who are reported missing to the police, and subsequently returned home. The charity has also recently opened a refuge - a safe place were young people meeting a strict criteria can stay while alternative accomodation is arranged.
SAFE@LAST is a registered charity, and is only able to continue to help young people because of your generosity. By pledging to do a sponsored parachute jump you can raise money for SAFE@LAST and have the experience of a lifetime.
SAFE@LAST and the Red Devils are working together to provide tandem skydiving experiences for your fundraising activities - make your jump unique with the world famous Red Devils.
The day of your jump will involve an introduction to the Red Devils Team followed by 30 minutes of ground training. You will be attached to a qualified Red Devils tandem instructor in readiness for your jump. At an altitude of 13,000ft you will exit the aircraft and experience a thrilling 45-seconds of freefall then an exhilarating canopy ride.
