Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society

'WDCS is the global voice for the protection of whales, dolphins and their environment. We take action to stop the threats that whales and dolphins face, to protect them and the places they live. We work to make the world a better place for whales and dolphins through a range of political campaigning and lobbying, active conservation projects and world class science, research and education initiatives.

Whales and dolphins are incredible, intelligent mammals yet their survival is threatened by human activity. Driven from safety, hunted, tortured, killed, captured, blasted by noise and poisoned – they face more dangers than ever before. WDCS supporters and staff share a vision and a passion for these beautiful and endangered creatures. We share both the belief that they are worth protecting, and the commitment to keep on fighting for them.

WDCS relies on public donations to continue with its vital work. This year alone we are funding 32 conservation and science projects, spanning 25 countries.

With your help, we can continue to be there, on the frontline, fighting for the right of these amazing animals to live in peace. This is where you can help by raising funds by doing a sponsored skydive.'

By pledging to do a sponsored parachute jump you can raise money for Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society and have the experience of a lifetime. Jumping from a perfectly serviceable aeroplane takes a good deal of courage. Just ask your friends, family and work colleagues how much they are prepared to pay not to jump out of an aircraft, and put that money to the cause.
